Here is Sofia

It’s not easy to sum up 28 years of life, especially when you want to keep it short but still introucing yourself
But I’ll do my best.

Born by the sea, raised in Le Marche

I was born and raised in Civitanova Marche, a seaside town in the heart of Le Marche, in central Italy. Thanks to my family, I started traveling from a very young age, from camper trips to intercontinental journeys.Big experiences, lived through the eyes of a child… but enough to spark something in me: a deep curiosity and a love for exploration.

A passion that kept growing

I chose to study tourism, learned languages, and kept traveling across Europe.Living in Dublin, studying in Spain, meeting people from different cultures, every experience opened my mind and shaped who I am today.

Finding my path abroad

After university, I moved to Budapest.
What started as an internship turned into a few years of life abroad.
Living far from home taught me independence, responsibility… and something even more important:
what truly makes me feel alive.
Helping travelers. Connecting with people. Sharing places.

The turning point

In Budapest, I started guiding people, creating itineraries, and sharing the city through my eyes. That’s when I understood it clearly:
this is not just a job, it’s what I love.

🏡 Going back to move forward

At some point, I felt it was time to go back home.I returned to Le Marche, became a licensed tour leader, and started looking at my land with new eyes.

🌿 Why Le Marche

When you leave and come back, everything feels different.
You notice the small things. You value what you once took for granted.
Le Marche is not a place built for tourism.
It’s real, simple, and genuine.
And that’s exactly its beauty.

💛 What I want to share with you

This is why I do what I do.I don’t just want to show you places —
I want you to feel them.
To meet the people, taste the traditions, and experience the true soul of this land.

Don’t just pass through Le Marche.
Stay in Le Marche.
Feel Le Marche.

The 5 Provinces

In the center of Italy, along the Adriatic coast, lies the Marche region—still unbeaten, authentic, and full of surprises. Within its borders, each area feels distinct: from the people to the traditions, and even the dialects. One of the best ways to understand Marche is by exploring its provinces. In the north, Pesaro-Urbino stands out. Urbino, a Renaissance jewel and UNESCO World Heritage site, reflects the region’s artistic heritage. Moving south, Ancona, the regional capital, is a Roman city and bustling harbor, with a strong seafood tradition.Further inland, Macerata is a medieval town nestled between the Sibillini Mountains and the Adriatic coast—a place I proudly call home. Fermo follows, known for its craftsmanship and shoemaking industry. Finally, Ascoli Piceno captures hearts worldwide with its iconic Olive all’Ascolana. This is not a complete list of what Marche offers, but rather a way to read and understand its diversity, especially if you’re new to this beautiful region.

Food: The Origins of Le Marche

Italian food has recently been recognized by UNESCO, and its richness and diversity are truly incredible. Here in Le Marche, we produce unique specialties that you can truly experience only by being here.In Italy, regional products are protected and recognized through certifications such as DOP and IGP. These labels guarantee quality, authenticity, and a deep connection to tradition. In the Marche, some of the region’s proudest DOP products include:

  • Prosciutto di Carpegna – a refined cured ham

  • Olio extravergine di oliva Cartoceto – high-quality extra virgin olive oil,

Among our IGP treasures are:

  • Ciauscolo – a soft, spreadable salami, our king

  • Lenticchia di Castelluccio – small, tender lentils grown in the mountains
